I am 7 months pregnant - and my husband and I STILL havent decided on a name. He REALLY wants the name Hendrix (yes, after Jimi Hendrix). I'm not 100% sold on it, but am thinking of conceding simply for the baby to have a name! He doesnt want it for a middle name either. My family absolutely hates it. He's a musician...I'm not. I'm worried about the stigma that will be attached to him or us by kids parents. I know that may be a silly thought..but someone at work had brought that up to me. I also dont want him to be nicknamed "Hen". I dont hate the name...but I dont love it and he's not working with me at all! Any other suggestions or what does everybody else think about it???

Now I'm going to give you a lot of info, so you can help me out, cuz I really need it! I have been using overnight pads in the daytime because I am bleeding so heavily. I will literally soak through and overnighter, in two or less hours, and I wont use tampons, because, I just have to take them out sooner. The blood is a weird colored red, one I've never really seen before, from me. It smells weird and there are many "clots" of blood. I've had my period for a year...So I know whats normal and whats not. I've had my period for 3 days like this now, and my mom is still telling me not to worry, but she always over looks things. Usually on my 5th day things get worse, and then taper off from 6-8. Is it normal to have your period 8-9 days? My first couple of days are usually really light...Please help me, thanks for all that do!

PS I am about 40 pounds underweight so it is nothing to do with fatness...

caucasion man. But whenever we go out I get evil looks from some black men. But... when I wasn't dating anyone, and went out with my girlfriends, brothers wouldn't even think twice about looking at me, it was always my friends. Now that I have a man of a different race, they want to look at me and roll eyes etc... what gives? any other time they would just look away and I am a beautiful, clean, well dressed woman and I carry my size well. My dad - for as long as I can remember - would tell my mother that us kids were going to grow up, get married and leave them and all my mother would have is him. While that is just what happens in life, he has used it as a means of brainwashing her to the point that when faced with having to chose between us or him - which he does often - she always takes his side. This is our birth father and mother. Even when I call her on the phone, he will distract her from the conversation. When I was a teen, I was kick out by hm many times and he would always play the "he or me card: Would you consider this a competition that my father is having with his kids for my mothers attention. What do we do about it?

in metaphase 1: there are 46 homologous chrmosomes(is this right? or 23 homologous chromosomes) then there are 23 homologous chromosomes= 46 chromatides at each pole in Anaphase 1. In Telophase 1 and Cytokinesis, there are 23 homologous pair of chromosomes or chromatids in each cell(2 cells). Then prophase II, there are two 23 homologous pair of chromosome in two cells to start out with (46 chromatids). then Metaphase II, the 23 homologous pair of chromosome separate chromatids to each pole, each pole having 23 chromatids. so this happens twice because of two cells. Now Telophase II, Cytokinesis there are 23 chromatids in each cell (4 cells) I assume that now since chromatids are separated they are now called chromosomes is this right? As a result we have 4 haploid cells. Do we have 4 haploid cells because in each cell there are 23 chromatids or 23 chromosomes?
