Do these need any lighting to grow, the only light they really get is from the tiny lightbulb over the tank that does not do much and from the window, so I am not sure what to do because I can't put it on the window sill or anything because my betta will die since they can't be in direct sunlight.

On the upper part of my arms I've started to get what appears to be a rash. On one arm it's lower and a few inches above my elbow and just seems to be in one spot (about the size of a deck of cards) on my other arm it's the same general size but is closer to my shoulder and goes around the back of my arm.

It's been like this for a few days and almost seems like poision ivy but with more pronounced bumps. We haven't changed the laundry detergent or softener and I'm not allergic to anything and it's only in those spots. We don't live near woods so I don't know what this could be. Any suggestions?

Damned thing was "burned" to the burner. I pulled on it gently, then went into Homer Simpson mindset and went after it with more force. Next thing I know I'm holding half a coffee pot, and the other half is still stuck to the burner. And yes, coffee went everywhere. Thank goodness it was only decaf!

We have now paid the leaches in America for the Second War (at 60 million per year it comes to more than 3600 million) and I am informed by the BBC news that we still owe 60 Billion for the First War. Some friends the Yanks and nowonder they were able to rebuild Germany and the rest of Europe with Marshal aid, none of which was for us in Britain, puts their real feelings for us in perspective doesn't it. Anyone else out there who think that we should just tell the Yanks to boil their heads over the rest as with friends like America who needs enemies?
