On the upper part of my arms I've started to get what appears to be a rash. On one arm it's lower and a few inches above my elbow and just seems to be in one spot (about the size of a deck of cards) on my other arm it's the same general size but is closer to my shoulder and goes around the back of my arm.

It's been like this for a few days and almost seems like poision ivy but with more pronounced bumps. We haven't changed the laundry detergent or softener and I'm not allergic to anything and it's only in those spots. We don't live near woods so I don't know what this could be. Any suggestions?

It's not flakey but the skin feels tough like it does when you get sunburn. The spots are not big, it looks like I have minor acne on my arms.

You might have Eczema, a from of dermatitis, If it's kind of flaky or looks somewhat like a blister or it may look like bubbles below the surface of your skin and it might be extremely itchy.

I had it once and had to go to the dermatologist before it got any worse.
Until you can get to a dermatologist, don't use any soap or lotion that has a fragrance or any any detergents or it might worsen the condition of it.
Use a fragrance free moisturizer like vaseline.

There is a condition called Molluscum that sounds similar to what you are describing. Have your doctor look at it or a dermatologist. It is a benign viral infection of the skin that is not particularly harmful or painful.

Could be psoriasis.
I have similar but mine's very itchy. Or was, until the doc prescribed Exorex.
It cleared it up fine.

Has to be something though that could have caused this to happen. Best thing is to check in with your Doctor ASAP, and treat it before anything else happens. That advice anyone can tell you but it basically is the truth. Thanks.
