I just read a comment on that and it struck me as being true, the acoustic guitar being the curvier ideal of the 50s and 60s, and the electric guitar being a less curvy, thinner, stick figure.

There is this picture of Britney Spears in WorldofBritney.com where it says "Make It or Break It." She looks really hot in that picture and I was wondering where i could find a bigger version of that picture (having not found any links to it on the site) and/or even a place where I'd find a poster version of it. I never turn off the computer, just put it on "standby". When my husband tries to log onto the computer using his user account, the computer freezes up, ctrl+alt+del doesn't work. He has to turn off the computer at the tower and start again. Why does this happen??

Why is swearing so prevelent in present day movies, and in place of a good story line? Also didnt fully realize, until recently, that this is true with many of the older films.Is it because the film writers are so narrow minded that they cannot think up a worthwhile script?

i'm a college student and recently bought a macbook and love it. i wish to take advantage by making some movies and such.

i want to purchase a video camera that has great video quality, like high def. also, need good sound. need to be able to hear clear and peoples voices, with no disrupting typical wind noises, etc.

what would you recommend? i know high def cams/mini dv are like $1,200.

i can easily purchase a regular mini dv at circuit city now that they cost about $300 but feel the quality will suck on both the video and sound.

tips? advice?

anywhere i could get a great cam would be great.

i checked ebay and the prices are still about $1000. any other sites? anything!!!!

What is the difference between an atom and an ion? Ion has net electric charge. So it shows electric property. It acts like a small charged ball. What about an atom? Does it behave as a neutral object?
Atom has equal number of protons and electrons bind together in the space. For this it is said to be electrically neutral. But electric field is a vector quantity, so equal number of positive and negetive charges doesn't essentially cancel out the effect of each other.
Let's take hydrogen atom for example. It has an electron that is orbiting around a proton. At any instance of time, there is a point between this two charged particle that is neutral (according to couloumb's law). But as a whole this system will have net electric property. So a hydrogen atom should behave like a charged object rather than being neutral.
Actually the nature of electric force (static) is such that charges distributed in space (like or unlike), always creates an electric field.

Most atheist seem to prefer intellect and reason over religious faith, but I don't understand how they conclude there is no God, heaven or hell, and adamently defend this position. What proof exist to support this theory? I find this to be extremely conflicting.

In the absence of absolute proof, how can an opinion be formed?

Personally, until someone convinces/prooves to me that they have actually died (and I mean longer than a few minutes) and there is nothing after this life, I would rather appear foolish than be foolish while making ASSumptions about something that I can't prove. A certain amount of fear is healthy, particularly when there is no eraser and no do-overs..

I have 2 guinea-pigs which i adopted from an animal shelter. They were dumped together so im assuming they've been together since they were babies. We've had them for 5 months and theyve been good friends, but recently they've started fighting.
The more dominant and bigger one chases the smaller pig, spikes his hair up attacks him. They've been biting each other alot and have bleeding wounds. They both make these chattering noises with their teeth and you can see they dont get along.

what should i do? if i separate their cage it will b too small and maybe too cruel for them to live in. They are both castrated so i dont know why they are fighting.
Is there any way to make them friends again? please help me soon!
