Listen to your question. What's wrong with this picture? The fourteen year old is a girl, the 20 year old in NOT A BOY!!! He is a man. This 20 year old is going to want to make this 14 year old "girl" do things that she is not mentally mature to do. At this point the age difference is too wide. Now if the girl were 20 and now a woman, and the man 26, then the age gap wouldn't be so wide. Get my drift?

Not only is it not "fine", in most places it's flat out illegal. If the relationship goes into anything physical, welcome to statutory rape, which will land the guy in jail.
Besides the legalities, there is something seriously wrong with a 20 year old man who is interested romantically in a 14 year old child. He is seriously lacking in social skills, intelligence and maturity to even consider it. The 14 year old .. well, at that age, 14 year old girls don't think in terms of common sense ... which is why they have parents to do it for them.
On that note, if the parents of that 14 year old girl don't slaughter the guy, then they're just as screwed up as the 20 year old guy.

Yes and No are not the answer here. What are the customs that they have been brought up with in some cultures it is OK if it is in the western world it is not OK. Personally I think a girl of 14 is too young to be with any one guy. They need to do the girl things like sleep overs talk about the cute guys etc. In the western society they need that time to learn who they are and what their needs are. A guy of twenty is just starting his discovery of the world around him so unless he is in it for all work and no play then go live your life without getting tied down until your ready for the responsibilities and sacrifices it takes for a permanent relationship

what country are they in? Is this an accepted custom? Is the 14 yr old a mature for her age girl and is the 20 yr. old guy a respectful young man? Does he respect the fact that the girl is only 14 and is still learning about herself, learning what she wants, what she needs, and the boundaries that go with it (like a chaperon)? If so, no I don't see a problem with him courting her. But if he is using her for the sex, as a piece of a$$, I say what in the hell are you waiting for? Call the police already!

NO, you have to ask yourself why is a 20 year old man who is old enough to be in college with someone that is 14 and who probably just got into high school! Its just causing for trouble both ways. I could see if the age differance was that she was 18 and the guy was six years older but not when she is so young....let her be a kid she doesnt need to be in a relationship with someone that old. At least now anyways. Im 20 years old and i definately woudlnt date a 14 year old for one and if one of my guy friends did i woudl have a serious talk with them.

No way!!!! I have a 13 yr old daughter and if she told me she was seeing someone who was 20 I would seriously be looking for him. That is carnal knowledge and canbe jailed for that her in oz!!!! Why would he be interested in a 14 year old anyway and if he was then he has got big problems with himself!!!! Also why does the 14 year old want a relationship with a 20 year old when she should be thinking about school and studies and having fun, instead of worrying about relationships with adults that want to take advantage of her young mind and body.

Absolutely not! It is not only morally and socially wrong for an adult male to get with a 14 year old girl, it is illegal in many places in the world. Unless he likes a lengthy prison sentence, you two need to break it off.
Don't give me this, "I know I am 14, but I am mature for my age" crap. At 14 one is still growing and maturing. At 20 he or she is supposedly grown and is engaing in the grown up world. That is unless he or she is still trying to get with junior high school kids.

it is always almost fine if the two people invlolved are fine with it but it gets difficult when society calls... so be ready to face it .. neways of what i understand till now, i don think 14 is an age for a girl to be involved n especially not with a guy who is 20 cause all he probably could want from u is sex

As long as no sexual intercourse is taking place. Once the penis enters the vagina or anywhere else you are asking for trouble. Not to mention that a 20 year old MAN dating a 14 year old is downright creepy. if she is 18 and he is 24 then there is no problem.
