I have a friend who wins sweepstakes prizes. She alternates taking her friends, including me or my wife, with her when she can invite a guest. She won two tickets to see Bears vs Packers this Sunday in a skybox and she invited me. The game was scheduled for 12 noon, but yesterday the NFL moved the game time to a night game because it's the game of the week. Bears and Packers are huge rivals, the Packers might make the playoffs with a win and this could possibly be Brett Favre's last game.
My wife was cool with me going to the game when it was 12 noon, but she wants me to bail now that the game is at night. I live close to Soldier Field (6 miles) and I'd be home by midnight.
We did not have anything else planned that night so it's not like we would have to cancel a previous engagement. She feels that I need to be home for New Years Eve.
I don't think I'll ever get a free ticket to a bigger game than this. Plus it will be my first time in a skybox. Should I stay or go?
