I am a British student hoping to study in the States next year. I will need around 5,000GBP to do this. (I study fine art also known as visual arts).

I plan to work part time and sell some of my possessions on eBay.

Please could anyone else tell me if there is anywhere I could apply for sponsorship?

I also want to set up a site for my friends to donate money - even if it's only a pound it all helps!

I have for as long as I can remember, shivered in short-sharp blasts (those associated with the phrase 'someone walked over your grave').
This appears to be a common phenomenon, affecting most people at some point. However, I seem to do this all the damn time, to the extent that my flat mates have labelled me with tourettes (which, apparently also involves involuntary twitches and not just amusing slanderous outbursts).
I refuse to accept this diagnosis however, and so set about attempting to discover the true cause for my twitch.
So far I have come across the myoclonous jerk and the hypnogogic jerk. The former seems to be associated withh various serious disorders, so I doubt it's that! the second, as far as i understand, is a side-effect of the mental transition between lucidity and dreaming.
Well, in my case, it doesn't seem to be related to fatigue and I'm reasonably convinced that I don't have MS or epilepsy as this has been ongoing my entire life.
So, why do I twitch??

okay, im a senior in high school and i applied to Adelphi University's Honors College, and i did not get accepted. I have a 3.7 average on a 4.0 scale. Im the president of Key Club, a communtiy service organization in my school, im the Vice President in Speech and Debate, im captain in a church organization, im a member of SADD, im a member of the National Honor Society, i receieved a full 4 year scholarship to the private school i applied to, i was nominated for so many awards, im in many college classes, i already have 24 college credits, and 6 more to receive this senior year. For my SAT, i got a 590 for reading a 590 for writing and a 500 for math. THey are only counting the reading and the math, so all together thats a 1090, which is 110 points lower then needed for honors college. Can they just not accept me because of one test? the SATs determine my entire future? is tehre anyway i can get into the honors program when im a sophmore, should i try to reconvince them? im lost, help

My mother in law has to be one of the meanest know it alls that ever lived. She always has this mean voice, and snotty way of telling you how wrong your opinion is. Than she wonders why only one of her kids ever asks her to their house for dinner on holidays. I just hate the woman. She is always demeaning when she speaks to anyone who doesn't agree with her completely. She will even fight with you when she is completely wrong about something and I've seen her do it with my husband. I just hate the woman. Does anyone else have a mean mother in law that talks to you like you are the stupidest person alive. Than to top it off she always defends her youngest daughter that has raised 3 boys that are drug users and lazy asses that are living at home smooching off them and they are well into their 20's. What is up with that? By the way this youngest daughter doesn't come over and help her mother in any way or invite her over. So there!! This daughter just takes Tell me your story.

It actually started printing yesterdays assignments and then wouldnt do todays. i tried to restart it, cancel and when i hit my print icon in my toolbar noyhing happens. i tried to get it to print manually from file and nothing. thank you so much for your time!
