Two married buddies are out drinking one night when one turns to the other and says, "You know, I don't know what else to do. Whenever I go home after we've been out drinking, I turn the headlights off before I get to the driveway. I shut off the engine and coast into the garage. I take my shoes off before I go into the house, I sneak up the stairs, I get undressed in the bathroom. I ease into bed and my wife STILL wakes up and yells at me for staying out so late!"

His buddy looks at him and says, "Well, you're obviously taking the wrong approach. I screech into the driveway, slam the door, storm up the steps, throw my shoes into the closet, jump into bed, rub my hands on my wife's a-- and say, 'How about a b--wj-b?' ....and she's always sound asleep."

I keep finding people referring websites that make statements or ask questions about the Bibles validity, if they would take the time to look at an apologists website they would see all of these questions have valid answers. I'm sorry but if Kings says Solomon had 14,000 horses and Chronicles says he had 4,000 horses, I don't think you can say you would not believe in God because of that? I guess in school you dismissed all textbooks? I noticed quite a few typos on some of the websites I have been referred to. I guess they are not trustworthy. Anyone who doesn't type absolutely perfectly on YA must be lying too?

That my date shows up!!!! When they show up, on time, with flowers, and have already chosen a suitable resturant for dinner, and also something fun for us to to afterwards. So long as he is well dressed, well manicured, and smells great, we're off to a good start. Also must be smarter & more motivated than a pet rock.

I'm a horror writer and I had an assignment in college to better understand one word it is good to understand the opposite. Or it could be fear. The thesarus I have said calmness, courage, equanimity. I don't find that cheap book adequate. Interested in guesses too.

If I am understanding this properly; the main philosophical difference is in the concept of how maya is created. In Buddhism it is though the process of dependent origination and attachment that maya is created. In Advaita Vedanta; maya is a direct consequence of emanation from Brahman. Is this correct?

Can someone with a deep grounding in these studies please help me, or refer me to a source?
