This is a mindset thing. You've got to just tell yourself, "Get your f*cking a*s out of bed, , and go RUN... NOW!" The best thing to do since it's freezing nowadays is to just sleep in sweats that you can wake up and run in. For me, it's a drag to have to change. Then, bring an iPod or some other music player. Music makes running a WHOLE lot better. If it weren't for my iPod, then I don't think I'd have any motivation to run at all.

Of course, this is assuming you don't have a treadmill. If you've got one, and you're STILL asking this question, then you REALLY are a lazy person.

Start slow, work up to more.
You need to have goals, just little one's. Every day you get it done is a success, not just getting it all done.
Your "laziness" may be an anxiety/depression, or any number of physical problems. You may have to start with conquering this problem before you start taking on challenges that you are not ready for and may fail at and cause you to beat yourself up over.
Find out why you cannot stick to something like jogging regularly.
I think the simple answer to that is that you just don't see the importance of taking care of your health yet, but you might have to go out and do some searching to find out why you aren't getting it.
Read some books about anxiety, depression, confidence, etc etc. Have some patience, Rome wasn't built in a day. If you want to get anywhere, you just have to take the first step, it only gets easier the more you work toward what you want. But be kind to yourself, it will happen, just never give up. Ever. Tommorrow is another day!

If you're not used to jogging it probably isn't a good idea for you to suddenly start jogging for an hour -- it'll be too much of a workout and put too much strain on your cardiovascular system, which could actually do more harm than good. Try walking first for half and hour and then work up to jogging weeks from now. You can usually reach your target heart rate without completely knocking yourself out. And when you find out that you can have a successful exercise session without making it so terribly hard on yourself, you'll be more motivated to keep doing it. A good rule of thumb is that, when you're working out at the appropriate level, you can talk, but can't sing (because you are a little winded, but not that much). Don't forget to drink plenty of water! Also, find a buddy who will exercise with you, or at least someone you can report to every day who will help keep you on track.

DON'T DO IT! It's bad for your body.Start at little amounts like 10 minutes then the next week go for 20 and so on.Just pushing your body into doing such extraordinary things will just make you fate.So start easy than go higher.

You have to wake yourself up and 'Just DO it". I used to run four miles a day, and did I like it, every day? NO. I had to make myself.....now I wish I could get back to that again since my schedule makes it impossible.

I ran when I was in college for a year and a half....btw
