So my bf went out with his best friend to get something for his fiance for christmas. He tells my bf to get his fiance a vibrator, so my bf bought it for her, is that weird? Is it normal for me to be bothered by that?

I told my bf that thats something people in a relationship give to eachother. His reasoning was that his best friend told him and even picked out the one to give.

Well. who cares if it's normal or not. The point is that you ARE bothered by that. To be honest, I would be too. Maybe you should try to pinpoint why you have those feelings. You may be old fashioned and feel that those kind of gifts should be between people who are intimate and sexually close. Maybe not. But as long as you have a reason, I'm sure it will be valid. So who cares if it's 'normal'. You have a right to your feelings, normal or not!

Most probably this best friend of your boy friend is too shy to pick one up from the shelf thus requested your boyfriend to do so. Noting weird about it and don't bothered too much about it!

I would be a tab bit concerned that he told you. It seems like there could be some more to the story. And yes, I would say it is very normal to be bothered by it
