ok so my b/f is the best thing thats happend to me ever!!. and his mom recently got transfered to switzerland. hes ther now and its been 3 long days w/ out him. at school when ever some one talks about someting i alwasy think of him and wen ever im huged i keep thinking its him [but its not cos hes in another country]



we are still dateing and we promised each other we would visit and we still tlak alot. but how can i cope with him being so far and me just wanting to throw my arms around him and hold him every secound.?!?

After overhearing a conversation between my brother and me, my 8 year old cousin asked me why I don't believe in God. The question caught me off guard because I wasn't expecting it from an 8 year old. I tried to be as simple and concise as I could, and I told her that I think God is imaginary and people only believe in it because it makes the world and their lives seem better, not because it's true. She didnt have any follow up questions, but she seemed pensive for a few minutes. Then, she went to her mother and told her what I said. Her mother then came to me a little pissed off that I'd told her daughter that. She's a strict christian and seemed to think that I was undermining her parenting. Did I do the right thing? What would you do in that situation?

My husband and I live in the SF Bay Area and are planning to drive to Lake Tahoe on Friday the 22nd to spend Christmas there. We are trying to figure out whether the traffic will be terrible or not - do you think everyone will leave right after work on Friday or will the traffic be more spread out? We've never spent Christmas in Tahoe so we're not sure how busy it is.

By posting other questions I've decided the only way to have a normal, non-rushed wedding is to wait until my fiance's settled at his base. How far in advance should he ask for his leave for the wedding? How long do they take to give you an answer? I know it's 2.5 days per month of leave, does BCT & AIT count towards this? And, finally, is there a certain amount of time you have to wait to take leave?
