I never saw French as a romantic language. As a matter of fact, I never saw languages as romantic. You would have to be able to speak a language to even comprehend anything romantic anyway. So you would have to be fluent in all the languages, or at least the major languages of the world, to be able to form an opinion.

No it is not the most romantic language in the world, but it most definitely is one of them, the others being Italian and Spanish.

french, italian, and spanish are supposed to be romance languages. but personally, as a native spanish speaker, and also a french speaker, i have come to the conclusion that Spanish is the most romantic, at least in my book. But it all depends on what defines "romantic."

no it's NOT. I think english is the most romantic language.
French sounds... unpleasant. And I quite agree with kytho, the french can't sing. We haven't got any good singers... *sigh*

It's suppose to be..but personally..any language spoken can sound romantic and sexy if spoken at the right time and place with a beautiful accent.

In Europe, French is not considered particularly attractive especially when sung (who ever told the French they could sing?), but Spanish, Italian and Latin American definitely is.
