My Friend is going on vacation and i have to watch there parakeet. and when it was just a baby it was abandoned and abused, cats would nock over its cage, the owner beat it,when it was just a baby. and i need to train it, i trying to train it, i need help, please?

I have a mutt, I believe him to have border collie, husky and some other stuff in him. He is a huge nerd, (my favorite kind of dog), He is very sweet, loving and friendly. I can take him anywhere, he's always the 'main dog' at the dog park. He gets along with all the dogs and the people there, when I walk him, he's friendly with the people out. But at home... Elroy is quite the 'bodygaurd', over time he has gotten more 'protective' towards people coming over. At first it was just strangers, but lately it's been to just about everybody who doesn't live here, except kids. I want him to continue to protect and alert me when somebody comes over, but aggressive barking at my mom is just uncalled for! He is an outdoor dog and I think he's about 6 or 7 years old, we've had him for 4 years. I do think he was abused prior to us getting him, he is much more aggressive towards men, it even took him a while to warm up to my husband. Like I said, it's only at home, he's like this.

What would you be willing to give up to someone else that is precious to you, ie..
stop smoking-for a week to let the people who love you and are scared for you know you love them,
your favorite treasure to somwone who loves it very much,
your time for a week for an organization who needs you,
time to spend with your family even if they do not deserve it,
lending something of value to help someone else,

What would you be willing to do for a week that is a personal sacrifice to you, yet it will be sometihing that will bring someone else joy.

What if for a week, you people and myself who answer this question give up our treasure to gain joy and gratefullness, and what if we do it so no one ever knows it was us except us?

What if we made a commitment to do this for a week, and then swap stories?
Will we not be better people for it and will we not change a life forever?
I'm willing, and James, I know you will be, who else will stand and deliver this next week?

I have dark brown hair and not a pyso that wants lime green hair(I like to look at wacky hair though...It makes me laugh) I will accept the idea of like pink highlights though just not my whole freakin head!!! I dont want blond unless there highlights i except all other colors for hair

How would you blow it up more without adding any more air? You can't add anything like helium, water, etc. and it's already sealed. I think it has something to do with heating and cooling or something...

I have a wireless internet card set up in one of my PCI slots and am currently not using the ethernet port. My computer is picking up the internet connection via the wireless router built-in to my girlfriend's Mac computer. I also have my PS2 hooked in through my VCR and then through my ATI Radeon All-In-Wonder video card. Ideally, I would like to be able to use my Linksys WGA54G Wireless-G Game Adapter, but for some reason, I can't get it working. If I can get the ethernet port to reverse directions and be able to hardwire my PS2 to the internet through my computer, my problems will be solved. Hopefully some of you can help me. Thanks in advance.
