SO MUCH BETTER this Christmas Season -- for FINALLY I've become an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree -- no more teens/young adults or pigs (including their so-called 'friends' in MY home without MY permission), no one to drop trash on the ground, no one to make messes and not help with the clean up, no more do I have to stand for weeks in the kitchen (making dinners, snacks, meals and things), no more 4-6 loads of laundry a night, no more do I have to listen to screams of total GREED, no more do I have to constantly stand up, FINALLY I can sit in QUIET and READ ...
And .. most of all .. I am FINALLY Remembering to care about the one that every one FORGOT every Christmas Season (over the past quarter decade) -- and that is ME!
I am just enjoying SITTING DOWN, PEACE, QUIET, and being able to CHOOSE To see what I want on the TV (or not!), eating a simple meal for one, no more TOXIC people showing up at my home unannounced (and disrespecting me), no more DEMANDS or SCREAMS, no more do I have to do EVERY THING ..
AH, what PEACE, what JOY, what UTTER PLEASURE to FINALLY sit down and ENJOY the TRUE Meaning of the Season!
