What would you be willing to give up to someone else that is precious to you, ie..
stop smoking-for a week to let the people who love you and are scared for you know you love them,
your favorite treasure to somwone who loves it very much,
your time for a week for an organization who needs you,
time to spend with your family even if they do not deserve it,
lending something of value to help someone else,

What would you be willing to do for a week that is a personal sacrifice to you, yet it will be sometihing that will bring someone else joy.

What if for a week, you people and myself who answer this question give up our treasure to gain joy and gratefullness, and what if we do it so no one ever knows it was us except us?

What if we made a commitment to do this for a week, and then swap stories?
Will we not be better people for it and will we not change a life forever?
I'm willing, and James, I know you will be, who else will stand and deliver this next week?

Helping people is too much in my nature. I really started caring about everyone after I watched this AniMe called " Trigun". Made me realize how precious people are and that this world needs more heroes. I would give whatever I could to help another. Regardless if I know them or not. Even though, at times, helping others has dic#ed me over I still couldn't sit by and watch others suffer. This entire country has everything handed to them like where a bunch of blind children. Just ignoring what goes on the outside. All we need to do is wake the hell up and realize to truly be happy and live in a world of peace is to turn around and help each other instead of turning our backs on others in need. This is isn't a race to see who's better than the other cuz nobodys better than anyone else. Thieves, killers, psychopaths, etc.. arent born that way. There made. This world needs to end the fighting and listen to the cries for help that are being muted by everyones greed and selfishness.

I don't consider acts of kindness a sacrafice, I consider them an act of unselfishness....

So I don't have a limit of what I would do material wise that in my capacity.

Give up my TV?
Give up my clothes?
My favorite Teddy bear sure?
Sure!

That's all tangible.
But to give of my time, my ears, and my heart.... now that's precious.
So many people get caught up in the material, and not the inner material we're all made of.

I would be willing to give up some of my Time. That is one of the hardest things for people to part with for another's benefit.

I think giving can be addictive.Once you get started doing it and you see how good it feels, you want more and more.

In the long run doing the right thing always feels better. It's something you can look back on and feel good about.
