Cp1M1Tf -Cp1M1T1= Cp2M2Tf-Cp2M2T2

Cp1M1Tf-Cp2M2Tf
=Cp1M1T1-Cp2M2T2

Tf=Cp1M1T1-Cp2M2T2/Cp1M1-Cp2M2

You don't use the formula to solve for Tf, you solve the formula for Tf. That said, the formula you give is not complete. I'm guessing the complete formula is (Cp1)(M1)(Tf-T1)=Cp2)(M2)(Tf-T2). I'm not in the mood to solve it now. You can multiply, divide, add, or subtract the same quantity on both sides of the '=' until you have Tf = ???.
