I think there are alot of regular everyday people out there acting as Santa's Helpers. Think about it, you know a family down the street is having trouble making ends meet so you drop off a "secret" present on their front door that includes gift certificates to Target or Safeway or whatever to brighten up their Christmas. When we help out the misfortune in giving some of our time or money to make their lives just a little bit better or just to give them something to smile about....aren't we acting as Santa's Secret Helpers?

Elves. Not counting the helpers who dress up like Father Christmas and whoopla around various parties.

the traditional answer is Elves - not the LOTR type.

I tell my 6 year old son that me and his dad and the rest of his family are helpers too - because we tell Father Christmas what he likes to play with, buy some of the presents because FC and his elves don't have time to do it and wrap them up.

Unfortunately we are unpaid helpers...sigh.

In mythology they are called elves. To me they are called the human race. We are all his helpers in one way or another.
