Because it is a Private School. You would pay in a Catholic Schools as you would have to pay in any other PRIVATE Schools.

Public Schools are paid through our taxes. The Private Schools are not. Do you that not all Private Schools are Catholic! there are Jewish, Islamic, among many others. And they are opened to all students, not just the Catholic students. If the family is able to pay, they can register their kids in that school.
In Britain, there is a Catholic school with the majority of the kids are Muslims, and now they are thinking of changing the name of the school for the sake of the Muslim students. Did you know that!
