I prefer for the guy to make the first move, because I'm really shy. Plus I am into chivalry so I want the guy to be a man and have the guts to ask me out. But I have many friends who's relationship got started with the girl making the first move...so its all a matter of opinion. Whichever you feel more comfortable with!

The first move should, I think, be made by the person who feels the strongest for the other person. Some people think the guy should be first, others think the girl. But doesn't it make more sense that the person who feels the strongest should make the first move? After all, people are drawn to certain people for a reason. If I have strong feelings for a girl or lady I will let her know right off that I care about her and what happens to her. I will tell her that I hope she has a good day or good weekend and if I can be of any assistance to her in any way, please freel free to contact or call me. Most ladies or girls appreciate someone who shows concern for them when that person doesn't have to do that.

I think the first move should happen as a together thing. If you like someone and they like you its bound to happen especially if your around them alot...
The only tip I'll give is for you to sit across from them and say lets talk... Then when your in grossed and talking about nothing and everything look them deeply in the eyes and whatever your feeling act on it... but ask them what their feeling and if they're shy just say... whatever your feeling I may be feeling the same so lets just act on it with no second guessing or thinking hard and then mabye just mabye the forces will pull you two and a kiss will happen, if not! Be honest say you like them and then go from there, not everyone can read between the lines nor can they just act without a push.

The move no matter who does it is fraught with emotional and sexual tension. Hormones are raging. If both people are open to a relationship, a slow gentle kiss to the lips is essential. This should be followed with a prolonged hug. Who goes first? The one with the most courage. There is no right or wrong here.

USUALLY the guy should. That's the tradition. But realistically, both of you can. It doesn't matter. You don't have to be sure that they like you back, you just need to take a chance. If you wait for them to move first you might be waiting for the world to end. People are nervous about such things.

i believe that the guy should ask the girl, if you're a girl, get one of your guy friends to talk to this boy and find out if he likes you or not.. if he does, get your guy friend to tell this boy that you're interested in him too
