I met a Marine recruiter online and we met in person and really seemed to hit it off, even sleeping together the second date. He told his teenage daughter that he met someone. Now, I haven't heard from him (either by e-mail or phone) in almost a month. However, he did send me an e-mail saying that he was too busy at work to date or have a social life He also said that he wasn't seeing anyone else. So now what? Are Marines emotional camels? I was taught if a man likes you, he's calling, etc. Will a focused Marine just shelf feelings for a woman for the sake of the Corps? I really like this guy and think he could be a keeper, but I don't know what to do next? Any suggestions on what I can do to distract him or what I can do to help him with his mission in order to spend time with him? Responses from military especially appreciated.

I want to get a new dog, but I don't know what type to get. I want something medium sized, and short haired. I don't want something common like a lab or a retriver. I was thinging about a german shepard, or a doverman, but we have kids in our house along with 2 daushunds. ok so last year we sat at the same lunch table and flirted all the time! i thnk we both knew we lked each other but never made the first move and last year he used 2 stare at me all the time and i would always tell 2 stop cause it made me feel weird! well this year i still lke him actually im in love w/ him and i thnk he still feels the same way bout me but everytime i see him in the hallways or approach him even if we tlk 4 a moment he wont look even in my direction. its lke hes afraid 2 look in my eyes or somethin and he gets the smirk on his face when i tlk 2 him sometimes...... wht do u thnk this means? i have been feeling realy nausiea latley. i also have really bad heartburn. when i play b-ball i feel like im about to pass out and i have no idea wuts going on around me. we have gone to the doctor and they dignosed me w/ an acid reflux dieses. they didnt didnt do n e tests so my mom thinks its something else because i dont have any acid reflux! wut do u think is wrong w/ me???

I have an associates degree in paralegal and i am working on B.A in criminal justice but I want to have a "plan B" just incase I can't get a criminal justice related job. i have alot but my favorite is lindsay lohan's " confessions of a broken heart" i pick this one because my parents divorced when i was like one or two or something like that. anyways, he has a drinking problem and he was never there for me when i needed him the most. it's a really sad story. i am 12 and i haven't seen him in over a year now. the only time i have seen him was last year for my cuz's wed. he doesn't call or anything. the song totally explains it but i like rock music and hip hop!!!!!!

my husband and i recently had a baby. his grandmother is a "nanna" (and has been for 30+ years). my mother (a first-time grandmother) also wants to go by "nanna." she sees nothing wrong with our daughter having two "nannas;" my husband thinks this is outrageous and disrespectful since his grandmother has already claimed the name so to speak. i'm caught somewhere in the middle. who's right in this situation? and what should i do to keep the peace!?!?! neither my mom nor my hubby appear to be backing down. the original nanna, btw, is totally unaware of the situtation. thanks for any advice--it's sincerely appreciated!
