Got a Samsung HDTV LCD with 1080P resolution. Got the HD box from Cablevision.The HD channels look great, but the rest can look terrible. Is there an up-converter available for live TV, along the lines of the up-converters in the DVD players that I see advertised?

I have had two pregnancy scans so far. One at 9 weeks because of abdominal pain and another routine dating scan at 11 weeks. Both have given different dates for the pregnancy. The second scan said I was a week further pregnant than what the first scan showed. I am very confused because I thought scans this early were supposed to be very accurate and that cant be so if one gives a due date of 18th June and the other gives a date of 11th June. Please help....thanks all.

Anybody here ever watched Breaking Bonaduce - the reality show about Partridge Family child star turned adult drug addict Danny Bonaduce? Now my question is will cutting back on pollution now have enoth of an effect on our future world or will more drastic messures like sending a satalite to block out some of the suns rays be necessary? I am all for cutting back on waste of energy and population growth ect but I just dont think it will be enoth to stop this crisis. I think we will probably have to sacrifice alot to build Co2 scrubbing machiens, Plant more plants, and find other ways to rebuild our glacial ice caps ect... It was said the war on terrorism would take along time but I think the war on pollution will probably take alonger time. There are so many varibles we do not know our very own magnetic field generators could be helping to cause global warming in ways we do not yet understand. This may mean a dramatic cut back in power consumption on a scale that would put us back into horse and buggy days but honestly the only other option is to do nothing imo.

okey look i m haveing a serious prob
and that is my father and me we hardley get along and i really want to get along with him
i want his attnetion and i have tried to do things that he likes with him but we still don't get along
and sometimes i hate his guts 4 that cause i do soooo much just 4 him and he doesn't notice it.
i thought that maybe cause of marks he doesn't get along with me
but even after getting good marks he still ignores me.
what do i do guys i really want him to love me.
i m 17 yrs old and carving 4 his love and he doesn't understand and mom knows about it tooo.
and he is my real father.

My 2000 Ford Explorer was rear ended by a tractor trailer. There was only a scratch on my bumber. The tractor trailer was only going about 5 mph. My neck has been bothering me since the accident so I'm seeing a chiropractor now. I'm wondering if it's even possible for me to get the other guy's car insurance company to pay my chiro bills, since the accident resulted in little damage to my vehicle.

She's Marie, ( the nightmare MIL from everybody Loves Raymand) except she lives 100 miles away. ut she calls 3 or 4 times daily. My house is NEVER clean enough when she comes over. And she keeps inerfiring with ther way we are raising the kids. Granted I am thier step mom but my Husb choose me to help him not her. She keeps butting in. My husb has spoken w/ her but she refuses to listen. He says dont call and she shows up on our doorstep, He says I'm right and she mails us clippings from magazines to prove her point. and so on and so forth.
How can we get her to get a life ( her own pefererably) and let us live ours with out depriving the kids of Grandma whom they love?
