My girlfriend has cancer and her boyfriend is an ex junkie who about every 8 months or so relaps for about a week. She has a five year old daughter, and wants me to take her if anything unthinkable happens. We are writing up custidy papers ourselves. Her boyfriend is not her daughters bilogical father but has been raising her since she was two. He will not give her up without a fight and I may not be able to prove his drug use in court. We also live in different cities so we may have to do everything through fax and mail. Neither of us can afford to go to a laywer and have legal papers writen up. Is there a more sure way we can do this? And If I go in with the papers the mother and I wrote up what type of chance will I have?

I need your advise please. I met this guy at university, he was interested in me and I told him from the start that now I'm not ready for a relatioship (even though I like him) but I'm happy to stay as friends, he was ok with that. After we finish uni we agreed to see each other just for a CATCH UP, but he kept on saying it's a date, so on the second date he kissed me.

I didn't expect him to kiss me so I didn't kiss him back and what I did I turned my face to the other side so he apologised and said he won't do it again. After that I felt really really bad, because I like him alot and I know I shouldn't have reacted that way but at the same time I know it wasn't a date. To tell you the truth I would love to kiss him but...

What should I do now? he said he won't do it again? should I kiss him next time I see him or what? PLEASE ADVISE. Thanks

Why is it that so many people say that if you send your child to school you will lose control over them and they become "bad" and you won't have any time to spend with your child?

And another thing, why is it that people say home schoolers are better just because their home schooled?
Now if you think about it the majority of kids and adults today were never home schooled.
Its like 99% of kids in the United States go to public/private schools, and 1% are home schooled. Now thats like saying only 1% of the nations kids are well behaved, socilalized, mannered, and educated. And that means 99% are dumb idiots.

And please don't give a sob story of why you've decided to home school your child. All I want is for people to anwer my question, if your not gonna say anything nice don't say anything at all.

And please note, I am a 14 year old home schooler so don't say I have no clue what I'm talking about.

ok, i'm makin a mix cd for myself but i've run outta songs. can anyone suggest some good songs...i'm into bands like silverstein, incubus, afi, switchfoot, plain white t's, the used, linkin park, fall out boy so i guess a mix of diff. types of music. anything rock or alternative.
