You can Have Two!! Yes you can. BUT only one can sign the marrige cert. But w/ 2 MOH s they can split up the duties and there are alot. and both of them can be named as Honour attendants in your program. Also if one of them is married she is a "Matron of Honour"
I was at a weding where there were THREE MOH. and it was sweet.
GOOD LUCK

I have coordinated many weddings with two maid of honors or 1 maid of honor and 1 maitron of honor. This is actually becoming a very common practice. This way no feelings are hurt and now you have two important people to help out, as a MH should for your wedding. Good Luck!

I had 2 maids of honor, told them together I wanted them both to be my maids of honor. One walked down the aisle first, the other last, introduced them as co-maid of honor. The one that signed the marriage certificate was the nearest one when it was time to sign.

You can have more than one.

you can have them both, but as was said only one can sign the marriage cert, but with having two maids or matrons it will make it a hell of alot easier on you, coz that way you can share all the duties between both and it can be done faster. and all u will have to do is get ready for your man.

I really like the first answer, but If it gets to be that big of an issue, in the program you could just list ALL your girls as "bridal attendants". It's your day and basically you can do whatever the hell you want to do.

Tell them how they are equally important to. Therefore, it is not you who will decide, but your two girls.

Explain the stressful you are already under, and you just might crack, if you were forced to do what two adult bestfriends can surely manage.

For the Love...

perhaps you could chose the eldest or the one you've known the longest to be the maid of honour.

What's the difference really? Why does it matter what they are called?
