You will need to find an lawyer to get you started. Any business in Thailand if corporated it must be minimum 51% owned by Thai nationals, outsider can only own maximum of 49%.
No problem getting a name and corporated, low cost. You will also have to record what your company is worth and have a bank and an account set up under the company name.
Investigate closely in whatever business you want to start, labor is low compared to USA standards but also cost and sell prices are low (but equal to labor). Next would be the VISA issue, need to look at getting a busness visa good for 90 days some for 1 year but that is a later problem.

Unless you're going to manufacture the clothes there, why? Thai people are generally poor and goods there are cheap; you'll make no money.
