Can someone help explain why Catholics confess to priests, rather than, confess to God privately? I know it is a sacrement, however, I'm looking for a better answer.

So ya see i have this dog and she is still a puppy but she is about med. size. We have to keep her on a leash at night and when we airnt home because she gets into the neighbors garbage and takes their shoes. Well ya see she has gotten smart and has learned how to wrap herself around the bbq pit or her dog house or the stepping stones and wiggle out of her harness. I have tightened the harness until i could only get 2 fingers under it but she still wiggles out. I need help does anyone know how to keep the dog in her harness?!?!?! please help the neighbors are past annoyed

i was trying to get all the data off of it by putting it as a master slave IDE.. seconds after i turned the computer on i smelled something and the slave hard disk was on fire.. is there anyway to retrieve the data off of it still without currupting anything else???

Three months ago i went to the doctor's and discovered i had an std. I got a shot and a perscrption. I was told that if i dont get the medication as soon as possaible that i wouldn't be fully cured. I had to wait nearly a week before i got get. Now thee months later discharge has started again. But, now i have these small chest rashes that are dark, and itchy. On my face i have what it look like are dry patches. Some are dark and very small. I'm concered about this. Can anyone tell me what website i can go on to ask proffessional doctor's about my concerns

I am worried about my cat. HE is getting fatter just about every day. He has to have a scoop (A tesapoon) of wet cat food, and we feed him Deli-Cat, or Kit and Kaboodle for Dry Cat Food, and we also feed him Iams Weight control, but I don't think it's doing any good. I think he must weigh at least 15 #! What food should I feed him so he can lose weight. I had to buy another pet carrier because he can't fit in the one we got when we first got him, and sooner or later, he is not going to fit in the one I got last summer! Will he get fatter, should we put him on a diet? I would like to hear some opinions and ideas!.

My husband and I recently found out he has a 1 year old daughter. He had slept with an ex girlfriend right before we got together. Four months into are marriage we were slapped with a paternity test for child support. We tried to see the baby .It was on her terms and complete intimidation from her parents. So now we are paying a lot of money , not seeing her , and his lawyer is telling him to kiss her *** to see the baby. It just doesnt seem right.
Can we go to court on our own (without a lawyer). Ask for joint physical custody. Have her name changed to ours. And have him put on the birth certificate. We want to be part of her life not just a paycheck. We live in california, Any advice? Thanks

My b/f and i broke up.. i want to try the let it go concept.. and if he comes back then we were ment to be...but i was talking to his cousin tonight who had just talked to him.. and he told her that it killed him that i told him that i didnt want to hear or see him... and he said that he would probably get used to the fact that we never talked and forget about me.... so he wants me to fight for him.. call him and see him.. while hes still hanging out with a friend.. that is a girl... its almost like he wants to see who wants him more...
what should i do.. i want to fight for him .. 6 years i dont want to give up.. but i dont like the fact that hes still seeing her... i want him to be done with her before we hang out again... hes only known her for 3 months.

I've seen a lot of ignorant people here, and a few people say just this, it is scary sometimes. Christmas actually developed as a pagan holiday and was banned by the protestant church until the 18th century, when it was brought back as Christmas.

There is actually quite astounding evidence that Jesus was not born in winter. As the scriptures said that the farmers went in their feilds upon the news. Well if you believe Jesus was born in December you should research the Palestinian winters.

In all truth, Jesus probably hates you all for celebrating the holiday.
