Of course not. Do you need to ask this question?

The guy is the worst speaker I have ever seen. It is like he has an ear piece with Dick Cheney slowly telling him what to say. While he is waiting, he fills in with "Well yee see" or "I...I....I... Can you rephrase the question Ahu!".

Even though, I believe he is doing a good job. The problem is he can't communicate his success well in an aggressive environment. Harry Truman said, "If you want an friend in Washington DC, buy a dog". Bush is in a shark tank of reporters, democratic party analysts and people looking to make him appear bad on camera. The guy is fighting the greatest war since WWII. We all need to relax and let him work for a while.

Another thing to get ready for- this war will take NO LESS than 30 years.

In closing, yes Bush sucks at public speaking!

Bush's problem with public speaking is he tries to imitate Ronald Regan, which does not work for him. I wish someone would point this out to him. If he came out and tried to be himself instead of Ronald Regan then we might actually see a good speaker.

no he's not, but a poll done said that people would rather die than to speak in public, so unless you are a motivational speaker or a professional public speaker, than we have no right to say anything. just because he messes up words doesn't mean he's an idiot, it means he gets flustered just like the rest of us in front of large groups.

When it comes to answering questions in public, he tries too hard.

If he didn't know the answer, or had to think about an answer, why can't he be honest and say "I'll have to get back to you with an answer" or "I don't know" - at least that sounds less stupid than trying hard to get some words out.

No, he's not a good public speaker...that's why people think he's a moron.

Although, public speaking really has nothing to do with intelligence.

Not in the classical sense, but he has delivered a number of very effective speeches.

No.
He seems cranky and testy.
Like an impatient boss addressing an incompetent employee.

He is good at giving speeches and talking off-the-cuff to small groups. He falters when the press badgers him. You would too.
