i asked him out last year and he said i dont know. i see him atleast twice at school and he is the only cute guy there.HELP! i dont know if i should bring up the topic again or just try to get over him!

Before you pursue any further get some information on him. As you said he is the only cute guy there. So if you feel that way then others do to. If that is the case then he has a pick of who he wants.
I would asses how you approached him the first time you asked him out. Maybe you were not as direct as you may have thought you were. If that is the case then try again. This time be a little more direct,but coy to save yourself from the hurt of rejection. If you still get that I don't know answer now You have to ask him directly. Before you go any further question your feeling for him to make sure it is what you really want.

it has been a year since you asked him out. try asking him out again. that seems to be on your mind and you don't know whether he will go out with you or not. so, get that taken care of first. if he says no, then forget him. go about your life. make new friends, get back together with the old ones. join activities after school for enjoyment or something new to learn. spend time with your family as much as you can. that sounds like a strange thing to say but you will be glad you did. i know it's hard when you have a crush on a guy, but, life must go on and take it from me, that's a true statement.

bring up the topic again. Let him know he's the only cute guy there....that may help. If that gets a bad response, forget it....crushes that don't pan out are easy to get over.

Well if he doesn't know, don't confront him on that issue. Try to be friend with him and let things evolve by themselves... if he doesn't know, I think that means he's not that much interested otherwise he would've known the answer to your question.
My humble advise would be for you to get over him. (BTW, if he's the only cute guy, is it because you're too selective/superficial?)

assk once more, and if it doesnt work, your going to have to forget him, and how you might ask. I always try to think of them doin somethin nasty like licking a toilet seat, so i dont feel the same way anymore. It might seem drastic, or very odd, but you have to do something, crushes are no jokes lol

if he always looks at you or something, then theres a spark!! dont bring up the topic though. just talk to him casually and become his friend. then you can bring the topic up in a more comfortable situation

Try talking to him about it agian. but don't rush it into the conversation. ezz it in a little bit. and if he is the only cute guy in your school, i'm sorry. and it wouldn't help if i was there trust me. i am nothing to look at. but atleast i know what i'm talking about.

try to think that, there is some thing different out there get out of you routine and date some one that you think is not cute. I am sure you will be surprise
