Why is it if you don't believe the same as the Christians they feel they have the right to pray for you. As a Wiccan, I would never do a spell on someone without their permission. I know I never gave a Christian permission to pray for me but now that I have asked this I am sure there are several who will pray for me.... or try to prey on me.

My girlfriend thinks her cat dezi is sad that her other cat mommy died of cancer the other day. She points out that Dezi has not been outside in 3 days when he is normally an outside cats. I don't think cats are smart enough to sense death and the couple animals that can are Elephants and Monkeys. Is my argument right ? Just curious

it took me till i was 15 to see my first shooting star out here in ohio in the country nd tonight i juss seen 12...ive been watchin stars for years for hours nd only seen 1 till tonight.i have notice that some of them been flashing in many colors like red,blue,green nd yellow. nd havent seen that before either...anyone explain this?

I know to get a downloadable font into a program you must download it and save it in that program. I have tried this many times and was told once you restart your computer your fonts will be there. Am I doing something wrong?

My child is 8 and is good at home, but a different kid at school - angry, bad attitude, disrespectful. Not all the time but is a problem. I want to know where to go to help her.
Paying for phycologists, etc is not an option.

me and my boyfriend are both students in university, i work part time and make money but he doesnt. His parents give him a lil money every month to spend. It is barely enough for gas and main stuff. I feel like he should get a job because his classes r relatively easy ( he's doin political science) and only has 4 classes i have 5 classes and im studying math and comp science so its harder on me. Any ways whenever we go out i pay for dinner and stuff , i usually suggest it because if it was up to him he'll jus go home and eat. I dont mind paying at all i make enough money but i just feel like he should get a job n get money so we can go out n have fun . I mentioned to him in a nice way to get a job for himself so he doesnt depend on his parents but he doesnt seem to want to . Am i expecting too much from him ?? n he does pay sometimes but usually he makes it clear he's broke so i offer to pay..

I had an interesting conversation with an Indian friend of mine. He said that their culture teaches them to not be confident, to show deference and avoid speaking out for oneself. They also restrict contact between opposite sexes during the formative teenage years and most school evaluation is through exams and assignments, rather than presentations and verbal means.

All this puts them at a social snd therefore academic disadvantage in university and professional life here that can never be reversed.

What do you think and is there a cure?

I have a friend who thinks that it's inappropriate to use the restroom in a store unless you're a legitimate customer there. She doesn't even think it's OK to go into a store and offer to buy something in exchange for them letting you use the restroom. She thinks that unless you really were a customer there, you shouldn't ask to use their bathroom.

I think she's wrong about that - I think it's perfectly OK to ask to use the restroom in a store if you have to go (especially if you're willing to buy something in return for using their facilities)

Who do you think is right? Is it OK to use the restroom in a store if you're not a customer?

in california, what was the last year you could convert a dirt bike into a street legal dual sport? i know that if the VIN has a "C" in it it means you can not convert it, but i don't know when that started.

Me and my 19 year old got tinto an argument because she dosent do anything to beter herself or any housework or chores for that matter. well she ended up leaving the house that night and I was worried about her because she didnt come back. I realize she is an adult, just wanted to know she was ok. My sister and everyone of her friends knew where she was, but wouldnt tell me. She ended up coming home with this girl that used to live upstairs from me the next night. The girl she came back with is 21 and tried to sleep with my boyfriend,coused many problems for me and my family and sleeps around on her boyfriend continuosly. So I didnt let her in my house to help my daughter get her stuff. Well the reason I am asking this question I think my sister should of at least told me she was ok and where she was. She has children of her own and is 37-years-old. Do you think I have the right to be mad at her. I just wanted to know if my daughter was ok.

okay, so, i was most of the time wearing 32 b's, they were a nice fit, maybe almost getting small, but i didn't bother to go shopping because they fit well enough. Well, a few months ago, maybe two or three, i noticed stretch marks, kinda ugly, but i hoped they would go away. Well, the right one (which, strangely enough) was the first one to start growing in the first place, just decided to up and take off, i'm wearing some 34 b's i had before but didn't fit the best, and now the right one is too big for it! the left one is getting there, and most of the only stretch marks left on the right one are gone, and the only ones left are near the outside edge. But you can DEFINITELY see a difference between the two, i need to go bra shopping for 34 c's now, but thought, i'm EIGHTEEN! I thought they were done. I did start my period late (i was 14 and a half) and not that i'm complaining about the change, i'm just wondering if this is normal, and if they are likely done now, because i don't want them bigger than a c. And, luckily, neither does my boyfriend. But is this normal, are they done, and will the stretch marks ultimately leave?

I was at Colo. Peter Randolph's about a Fortnight ago, & my Schooling falling into Discourse, he said he thought it would be to my Advantage to go to the College, & was desirous I should go, as indeed I am myself for several Reasons. In the first place as long as I stay at the Mountains the Loss of one fourth of my Time is inevitable, by Company's coming here & detaining me from School. And likewise my Absence will in a great Measure put a Stop to so much Company, & by that Means lessen the Expences of the Estate in House-Keeping. And on the other Hand by going to the College I shall get a more universal Acquaintance, which may hereafter be serviceable to me; & I suppose I can pursue my Studies in the Greek & Latin as well there as here, & likewise learn something of the Mathematics. I shall be glad of your opinion.
