I dye my hair only to cover the gray... I use to dye it all, but now I try to only do my roots. I try to stick to my usual natural medium brown color.

Of course I dye my hair....the biggest reason I think is because I have this section right in the front of my head where these like 30 grey hairs like to grow. Ugh!! When I put my hair in a ponytail they look like a chunky highlight. I guess just a natural one that I really don't want there. I'm not even 30 for crying out loud. Also I like to dye my hair because it gives me a nice change in pace. I enjoy it. The one thing that is really a bummer however is that I think once you start it's hard to get out of. There have been many times that I just wanted to quit but then your hair looks cheap while you're waiting for all the old color to grow out. I hate ROOTS!!!

I dye my hair because I was born with black hair but then it got lighter as I got older and I think the darker suited my coloring better...I also just like being able to change it when I feel like something different..its fun and I'm lucky that I have really healthy hair so it stays nice.

i dye my hair since 14, because my natural light blondish brown hair doesnt really work for my tan skin.
so, to freshen up my face i dye it black. but i dont know why it never last long (only about 1 month), always come back to light blondish brown.
so, since i'm 17 i dye my hair red, blue black, dark auburn, dark brown, anything dark (they last a lot longer in my hair). and now i dye it brunette cause brunette is color trend by L'oreal next year..

Yes, I do it because I look much more natural as a redhead. My natural color is a medium ash brown, but I have a classic redhead's complexion, very pale with light brown freckles. Most people have no clue I am not a real redhead until I tell them. Once I do they are shocked. Red suits me better because I honestly look much better with red hair

I used to - but I went back to all natural and love it!
I started with highlights when I was much younger because my natural color was sort of ordinary blond. I went to full color several years after the highlights and I just got tired of the upkeep. I decided to go back to my natural color and it looks fantastic! The little bit of gray has created very natural looking highlights. My stylist likes to take the credit for my highlights when I'm in the salon - only she and I know the truth! (Well, and now all of you do too!)

Why does a dog lick his you know what. Because he can. In a world of "Don'ts" women have been exposed to over time why not change your hair color. Reinvent yourself. It doesn't last for ever. Hair grows. So guess what? Have a little fun it won't hurt.
