No matter how shy the guy (unless he is young) chances are he will go for it. If he is shy and younger then why not give him a hint or even tell him you kind of like him. If he doesn't like you, it's not like he's going to blab it to the whole school.. he is shy.

Why would you want a shy guy to like you? Shy equals boring and boring equals a complete turnoff, doesn't it? Seems to me you'd be more interested in an outgoing, fun kinda guy. Am I right or wrong?

., you will know if you will be the first one to ask if he likes you but say it in a nice way ...or you can just ask someone to ask that guy if he likes you or not... if you also like this guy just tell him the truth!
