The relationship between us and our fathers can be pretty intense, particularly if one is a "butch" lesbian of color. Sometimes, in such relationships, there is a struggle of sorts as both parties may fight over the limited power allowed by the dominate society. Also, I see this in working class families. I was just wondering if anyone out there has explored this topic by way of images.

I own a 1989 GTA trans am with the 350.Just recently it begin to have problem's starting,cold or hot.alot of people told me it was this or that.It wasnt over heating ,but I changed out the water pump and thermastat.oil change and tune up.Everytime got in it,it started up and then only started when it felt like it.So I go and change out the fuel idle mixture motor,and again it started up fine a few weeks pass and i go to leave and it wont start.Put on a new fuel filter that's outside the gas tank.and again it did fine for a few weeks.So this last time it did this I took off my gas cap and she started right up.So I replaced it.What would be the prob if it continues,the check engine light stays on.

I've liked this guy for a long time, but I wasn't sure if he liked me, and i wasn't even sure if I was ready to take the next step. As time went on, i noticed he was nervous around me. He gave away little things such as: when i walked into the same room his eyes would be on me, he would tease me, when he was asking a question he would look at me(even if the question wasn't meant for me), he would always be close to me, and different stuff like that. I didn't tell anyone i liked him because everytime i told someone who i liked, it was just a mess. So i'm pretty sure he likes me, but then an incident came up and i found out that one of my closest friends likes the same guy. And now i don't know what to do. I really like this guy, but i don't want to hurt my friend. She did tell me that she doesn't want to get her hopes up incase he likes another girl. And now i'm stuck and don't know what to do. Can anyone help me?

I support the entire household as she is in school. In the past she was free to have boys stay, make noise, smoke pot etc. She is a decent kid, who has no problem being asked to clean up or make dinner. Last week we found out our neighbors had come to ask her to be quiet after midnight. Her dad asked her to keep it down and she was very nasty then told him that we better stop making the bed move during sex. We also found out she wasn't going to school so he tried to chat with her and she started again, told him he must buy her an alarm and slippers if he wanted her to go - even though he wakes her with coffee at 7:30. We plan to explain to her that at 19 she is an adult and with that comes privilege but also responsibility and we are willing to listen to her complaints and compromise on some issues.. She needs to follow us regards noise levels, clearing up and respect for other people in the house. And if she chooses to skip school then she must pay rent. Anybody help please?
