In Latin: Hallux. Also: pollex pedis (meaning: "thumb of the foot") or digitus 1.

in latin (and medicine) both toes and fingers are called "phalanges." However, the big toe is called the "Hallux." Most physicians I know just call it the "big toe" or the "great toe". FYI- The thumb is the "pollex".
