I PROMISE I'm not writing malicious script, :-) but I was just running a virus scan on my laptop, and I got to wondering how hackers and other such people can write viruses that don't infect their own computers. I would assume there's sort of a reverse process that would keep their own computers safe that would also be a key in protecting others' computers as well? This seemed so ironic about virus writers not being affected by the scripts they write that I thought I'd ask.

have long hair and when I get out of the shower my hair is always tangled. I leave my conditionor in my hair for about 5 minutes maybe longer and I have tried many different brands. When I comb it I use a wide tooth comb. Does anyone know anything that I can use or do so it will not get so tangled? I would like to use something that does not make my hair look greasy.

There are always lots of spam mail when I log on to my mail. I delite them before doing anything else. However, don't you think it would be fun to return the spam and be able to write our own nasty comments to the individuals who send spam? Those who mark as "return" or make it sound as though you had sent a business e-mail and they are sending a written response truly upset me. If I open them, they are spam and could have a virus. If I do not open them, they could be responses from business information that I am seeking. Yes, at times, businesses do respond in a mannor that are identical to spam. I would like to get even at times. Is that vengence?

I am 45 and in fairly good shape. But I have never snowboarded. I have skied, but it has been 20 years and I was never more than a novice. Should I even attempt to snowboard with them? I would really like to, but I don't know what to expect, or if I can physiclly do it. We will take a lesson first. Any thoughts?

Hi, I was wondering if people of the Mormon faith celebrate Christmas in the same traditional way that most Christians do- with Santa Claus and all? We were at the home of some Mormon friends, and I didn't see even one Santa- although the home is gigantic (mansion) and had many, many Christmas decos, including decorated trees.

The problem is I think she likes my bestfriend at work. When the three of us are together she is always flirting with him and laughing at every single thing he does, funny or not. The final straw came yesterday when for the second time she asked me if I was going to happy hour after work, only to ask my friend too, and say that she would only go if he went. This girl is not stupid. She knows I like her too but I'm unsure if she knows that it upsets me to see the two of them having such a good time together. When I'm around the two of them and they are sharing one of those moments I just get very silent and usually have to leave the area. Aside from avoiding them at all costs I don't have any idea what to do. Would I be out of line if I asked her to stop being so flirtatious with my friend at work while I am around the two of them because it affects my work? I don't want to stop them from getting together, I just don't want to see them together.

There is a car parked outside my business, near one of the entrances. The car has a "For Sale" sign and have been parked there for two weeks already. Is there anything I can do to have it removed? Should I call the police saying the car was abandoned there?

Now, a second question: what about a van parked just outside as well, with signs advertising a product that directly compete with my business?
