i found my grandfathers records on the ellis island website. it says he was from scantrone italy. i've never heard of it & can't find it on the web. maybe the person writing the info didn't understand him. any ideas or info regarding scantrone would be appreciated.

I was just wondering how a person like her made it to office? Just look at what she has done. She slaps a Capitol Police Officer, She has hosted numerous panels on Sept. 11 conspiracy theories, She introduced legislation calling for disclosure of any government records concerning the killing of rapper Tupac Shakur,
and now she introduces a bill to impeach Bush on what grounds? I am not satisfied with the way the President has been handling things however I wouldnt write a bill to impeach him. Whats wrong with this chick?

Why is it OK for the Sunni Muslims to deliberately drive a loaded car bomb into a Baghdad market and deliberately blow it up, deliberately killing 50 civilians, and they do not object to that, yet when a US military operation hits them back they run screaming that civilians were killed? Why is it OK for Sunnis to kill civilians? I don't get it. Does anyone else see the blatant Muslim hypocrisy here?

In all seriousness, this forum was not intended for questions like "who else thinks BUSH is HITLOR" (sic), "WHY does only 49% of the country have a brain?", and "Who else thinks there is a villiage in Texas that is missing it's idiot?"

Honestly, you Republicans and Democrats are both childish, partisan hacks who have no objective reasoning or a mature, independent philosophy upon which to form a cogent argument.
If you truly believe either party will be your savior, then you have been suckered in by the relentlessly biased media.

Neither party has done anything to fix any of our problems in the past 2 decades, yet you continue to not only act as cheerleaders for these criminal organizations, but continue to do so at a level which would make fourth graders blush with embarassment.

I dare any of you to make a poignant, timely, relevant comment which contains either a reasonable argument or a solution to any of our problems. Until then, please refrain from voting.

For me I would have to say I was in a dark room with absolutly no light. I couldn't see the front of my hand in my dream but I could feel someone in the room breathing but I didn't know from what direction and so I made my way to a wall feeling around and found a door knob before I opened it. I remember saying Lord be with me and I opened the door at the same time and I saw a ghostly looking face of a devil and it pass right through me, like it ran away. I woke up my heart was pounding and I had chills and goosebumps all over my body. It was really wierd. One more was recently, I dreamed that my little daughter died and in my dream I remember regreting everytime I was to busy or told her to hang on when she wanted to talk to me. I was hurting bad in my dream and was crying. My husband heard me sobbing and woke me up and tears were rolling down my face. It was the first time I ever that sad in my life. I couldn't imagine losing my kids I would go insane. What about your dreams?
