He/she just said "heyy add me to your contacts" it's starting to scare me!!!!!!!

Just put them on ignore

Don't do it. Block them or put on your ignore list.

From what I can tell, people get random IDs and use them as a sink for offers/promotions; on yahoo I have gotten ones from e.g. women looking to sign you up for their paid XXX sites and the like. I guess that may be a good or bad thing, depending on who you are :).

if you dont want to be contacted you need to turn that option of in your profile. Or just ignore this person.

Yeah taht's freaky. i got one from someone who somehow knew i was in a newsgroup. 2 actually.....and this person wasn't even in it.

uhh maybe he wants to be ur friend i duno theese ppl over internet can be rapists and crapp. i dunno but ive met 2 nice kids over internett there wickeedd =D AND manke me happy and i talk to them heaps .. +D do what you will 'add himm' cause he cant get to you or hurt you or stalk you down unless you tell him were you live. tataaa
