Well, I know my first time hurt a little. It's not as glamorous and wonderful as romance novels picture it. It was like a very severe stinging sensation for a few moments, but what helped was that my fiance stopped moving once i started feeling pain, and only moved when I told him it wasn't hurting as bad.
