You can say 'I have burned the toast' or 'I have burnt the toast'.
You can say 'I have learned the behaviour' or 'I have learnt the behaviour'.

However, as an attributive adjective, we would speak about 'burnt toast' and not 'burned toast',
and we would speak about 'learned behaviour' and not 'learnt behaviour.'

Would you agree with all four of those statements?

And, more importantly, does anybody have any idea why this is true (I mean, why we would exclude one of the variants in attributive adjective position, and why it should be the _regular_ variant for 'learn' but the _irregular_ variant for 'burn')?

I need to have a wireless internet connection with a laptop that I want to get soon because I am going into business with my dad and need to be able to take it anywhere with me and still be able to connect to the internet.

My question is, what things do I have to buy/sign up for/whatever to hook it up? I know I have to get something to hook into the side of my computer. Bluetooth, blue something, lol, anyway, and then how much is it a month or however it is you pay for it? I heard the thing that goes on your laptop is about sixty bucks but no one has told me how much it is a month.

ok heres the deal my brother owns a dog (mix dont know exactly what he is) and i dont like dogs much prefer other animals but as i was in the backyard yesterday i notice he seemed so happy to see me so i got closer (thing i hadn't done in the longest time)...his water was dirty had very little food looks very skiny to his age and notice his claws are enormous he is tied up in a corner and nor my bro or sis-in-law pay much attention to him dont think he even has a leash to take him to walk i thought of asking my brother to sell his dog to me yesterday as seeing this broke my heart but this dog is somewhere about 10mo to 1yr old dont know exactly .....is this too late to train a dog and giving him a good home.....ohhh not to mention he had all kinds of bugs on him and his poo was all over the place meaning they dont even clean after him....

My husband will talk about other women during our initimate times. I wonder if he is comparing me to these women during sex. Or he'll say something like, "You know i can't say no to your butt. Oh did you know Beyonce is 26?" Not 20 seconds after sex. It really ruins the moment, and cheapens the compliments he gives me.
