Can someone please tell me, honestly, with facts, what is so great about James Blunt? He's got a crapload of Grammy nominations and I just don't understand why.

This wasn't meant to bash him, Wise Guy. Yes, I know people are entitled to their opinions. And I know people like him. I don't, but I'm asking what exactly makes him worthy of all those nominations. Is it his voice? His looks? His songs? I can think of better artists who are more deserving.

I can't tell you with facts, but many people like him and when you are liked by the people, you are going to have nominations.

There's just something about James Blunt. His voice is so sweet and pure by itself without the addition of a lot of other instruments. If you listen to the songs 'Beautiful' or 'Goodbye My Lover' it just feels like they are exceptionally heartfelt and like he is pouring out his soul. His songs just come across as very sincere and passionate. I like him.

Just because you don't care for his music does not mean others don't.
You are entitled to your opinion as well as we are entitled to ours.
I like his music. He sings about real things and he sings from his heart unlike a lot of the other trash out there right now.

though im sick of Youre Beautiful,his lyrics are great and he brings his own ,uniques kind of sound.Its the unique sound that keeps people coming back for more..i dont understand why "High"didnt last on the charts but i could do without "Goodbye My Lover".

his voice is different, not so common. and most of his songs have tunes that would actually sound nice without all the background noise and electric crap, something hard to find these days.

i dont know, but i think his got a calming voice especially with his song "beautiful" but thats just me, other than that his looks arent so swell.

maybe its just not your type of music...listen to his song "goodbye my lover"...great lyrics and acoustics. thats the song that made me a fan
