i have the nano and i really like it. with the shuffle, there is no screen, so you can't see what song is coming up or what songs you even have onthere. i would go with the nano.

Buy him an ipod, nano, or the shuffle, believe me, he will learn how to use it. Also, try for videogames and videogame systems...boys love the electronic gadget stuff...i do too

He's ten years old, you are throwing your money away. That means he is a child, NOT a small adult.
