do we even have a chance?

I've just started to get really concerned about my children's education. My husband is in the military and I just don't know what to do. The schools around here are not that great. I just really worry about the education they will be getting. I was so lucky to go to a school with higher standards then the schools here in the US, now, I'm growing more and more concerned as the days pass about my kids education.

What are things I can do to improve their learning abilities at home if they do attend public school?

Do you have great public schools in your area?

Is education in the public schools around you a priority?

Am I just worrying over nothing? I really don't think I am because like I said education is a big priority in my life and for my children.

I was in line at the grocery store and the man in front of me wanted to pay with loose change... they refused it.. i mean ,yes i know its annoying and time consuming, but do they have a right not to accept change even though its legal tender? and if they do have to accept it, who would you call if they didnt??
Just curious.. i never even thought of that before..

I just got new tires 1200 miles ago on my 2002 nissan altima and I feel every imperfection in the road while driving straight. Every time i turn it feels fine but the tires feel like they have a mind of their own while traveling straight and send the feel of every bump through the steering wheel. Its a very unnerving feeling and I wish i could just get tight steering back. Could the tires not be balanced? What are some other possiblities that could be causing this?

We are purchacing our first home and have ran into a situation. We looked for a loan through an online source and got over 20 replies. Our credit score was in the lower 600's and after narrowing it down to just 2 lenders we got two totally different answers about a loan. The first situation is a 5 yr ARM with no pp fees if we refinace with an intrest rate of 6.8. The other is a 30yr fixed with an intrest rate of 6.1. I am worried that the lower rate could be a "bait and switch" with the other lender being very upfront with our credit issues and DTI (52%). I guess the question is: Is the lower rate possible a bait and switch tactic or should I run with it?
