I was born in the 80's and lived through the 90's and now i basically only most like alternative grunge rock of the 90's. And after i got over how stupid it all was even 80's music has an incredible nostaligia to it for me, i love it. I listen to all sorts of other music but i can't stand the 70's hair bands very well whereas a friend of mine who is as much older to have lived through that decade loves them. Also, i just don't get the crappy emo bands. Punk has it's own appeal but i don't like to listen song after song by whiney loser guys. (No offense to loser guys because they are actually secretly cool, just don't start a band). Is it the industry and good music isn't really coming out right now or am i destined to most like the music i grew up with?

to buy land, and build a church in a new development area. Should churches have money like this for building buildings, or should they be using it on other community needs? Which is more important, having a place to worship and save souls, or feeding starving children, building homes, shelters, etc.

My best friend just moved to Alaska with her husband. In the last week, he's been late to army work 3 days in a row. His officer told him that if he's late again that he's going to send my friend(his wife) back home and he won't see her for 6 months. His reasoning for being late isn't great. He stays up playing x-box until all hours of the night. Well, my question is.....Will my friend finally figure out that this guy is a loser and that he doesn't deserve her? I love my friend and believe me, I have tried not to get in her business, but it's amazing how much she loves him and how much she wants him to lover her. I just want what's best for her. Should I leave her alone and let her learn or try and help her out?

I keep bouncing back and forth but never really going all the way with anything. I get all excited with a new idea then I begin to think that I wont be able to do it and I get conviently bored with the topic. I really want to know what my dreams are. I dont really remember anymore and I dont know how to figure it out. I think I have a problem confronting my insecurites or anything for that matter. I want to get past this I want to be confidant. What do ya all suggest?

Theres nothing but do gooders and hymns no rocking tunes, why don't people want to go to hell, theres bad chicks, rocking tunes and beer for all eternity, just seems to me that heaven is my idea of hell, also why exactly do people think God would be so boring I reckon the great G man could pack away a good few beers

when you are pregant, you dont ovulate do you ?

me and my hubby been trying 4 a baby , and i usally ovulate around 21 days which is 21days, and i havent .

i have for past few days being needing to go to the ladies more frequently than usal aswell.

also i usaually get spots around this time and i havent .

do you think i could be pregant ?

Recently I talked to a friend of mine and during our conversation he asked me if I had ADD. I was like, no, why? He said I was spacey, and showing some signs of it. He asked me about my birth control pills. I've been on bc for 10 years, and now I'm on Ortho Tri-Cyclen Lo. Can these pills be causing me to be so hormonal I can't think straight? I have been to doctor thinking I had anxiety attacks and now I'm wondering if its all hormonal.

I've heard that the hecklers plan to seek monetary compensation from Michael Richards. However, what exactly did Michael Richards do that was illegal? I don't agree with his racist outburst, but we still have something called the First Amendment. Also, I have to say that I don't have any sympathy for the hecklers, since if they didn't like Richards' performance, they should have politely left instead of heckling him. If anything, they provoked him.

I have a ton of baseball cards that i need to get rid of and im not sure if any of them have any value. I need to know the simplest way to find the cards prices. I recently decided I want to teach English at GCSE level. The only (big) problem is that I'm in the second year of a Sociology degree. Although I don't think it's quite as worthless as some of the people who have posted answers on previous questions do, I'm quite aware that it's going to pose a problem.
I took it because I enjoyed it at A-Level and everyone said how it leads to just about everything (lies) and now I'm a bit stuck because English is the subject I always enjoyed and was good at but it's a bit late to change my degree now...
I did English Lit at A-Level if that helps...??
