My daughter has been complaining of pain in her lips. Yesterday her bottom lip was swollen. And darker than usual. I gave her prednisolone which had been prescribed to her when she had a food allergy. Today both her lips swoll up. What cause this?

I just finished watching the movie Hostel, after being completely disturbed and horrified by it, I got to thinking.

What leads a human being to desire such things?

For those of you who are not familiar with the movie, it basically goes something like this: Some eastern European country created a market fullfilling sick fantasies of rich people from around the world. Basically what they do is they kidnap people, and handcuff them to a chair in a torture chamber of sorts where the rich patrons pay them to torture and kill in gruesome manners the kidnapped individual. Americans are in high demand.

I wonder what leads people into such psychophatic behaviour? Could it be because they are rich, and having everything that they ever desire becomes boring to them and they want that which is taboo?(we humans bore easily)

I've heard of thing like this happening around the world, such as: people eating human babies, paying to rape a woman, and the more common pedophilia.

I am 7 weeks pregnant (with our 3rd) we have told everyone except for my brother in law & his wife. They have been trying to concieve for a couple years even went through IVF with no luck. Everytime she finds out some one is pregnant she gets very sad, depressed and then jelous. My husband and I have been tryng to think of the best way to tell them, I don't want to wait till she notices my belly in a few months. If I run my internet from modem into router then from router to computer, I cannot access the internet. I used tech support, but they could only diagnose if I am haveing hardware issues because I am out of warranty. So the router and cables are working perfectly. My problem is the software configuration. Can anyone tell me what I need to do to fix this problem?

In my mind I think of something controversial or funny in my mind then in my mind I plan out people's reactions.

I had a pretty nice SUV. I loved it because i had to drive back and forth from Iowa to ohio at least twice a mnth. than the gas prices went up. so i sold it. i was going to get a real nice car, but had student loans to pay off. So with what i made on the sale i was able to pay off a huge hunk of the loans and than i bought a dodge neon. The neon looked and drove really great. that is until i drove it yesterday in the snow. the car went all ways excpet straight. I am now looking into a newer car suv(not a big one though). One that will have pretty good trac and control and is not a gas hog. any ideas?

This lender made a mistake on the closing papers. New documents needed to be signed and I was told that I was going to have to wait another 5 days for my check. I am now going on 10 days. I can't believe this is a federal law. Oh, the change amounted to changes on 2 pages (changing February to January) but they said all the documents had to be redone. So their mistake has cost me money (but I bet they are making interest money on mine) HELP!

I married my husband 5 and half years ago now. 3 years ago we had our first child, a boy. My husbands family have never liked me. I was never good enough for them. But for some reason they seem to now take it out on their son, and grandchild. They dont ever spend any time with our little guy, and make promises to see him and then never show up. They will come and visit my hubbys sister and her 3 kids for a week, and our son is lucky to see them for an hour during that week. My son is now starting to pick up on the fact that Nanny and Poppy never spend anytime with him. He was promised by them a visit today and they have not shown up. He is asking us constantly where they are. We both dont know what to do or say.
It is now to the point where hubby has thrown his arms up in the air and is about to tell his parents to go jump and not bother with us at all anymore. Although I dont like his family, this upsets me as family is very important to me. HELP
