How is Taoism different from Zen?

They are different religions. Taoism is based on the teachings found in the book the Tao Te Ching. Zen is a form of Buddhism.

I'm sure Wikipedia will have articles on both of these. The Tao Te Ching is a quick read; you might find it interesting.
