They are marketed toward specific gender- doesn't always work! Different products interact with the body chemistry of different people, some male specific are "to die for" when mixed with some females and same goes with female specific on male.
Whatever works for you as an individual.

If it's a strong scent, but with a feminine look on the bottle of the perfume that means it's a female perfume. But then again, perfume designs constantly change so it'd be real hard to figure. In Secret deodorant's case, yes, because it's designed to deal with the perspiration of a woman, not of a man.

Deoderants are usually gender specific. Usually on the bottle it will say wor men or women.

Perfumes and colognes are usually in their respective departments...deodorants say if they're for men or women but you can usually tell by the container..

Some are....You can usually tell the difference, i.e. passionflower versus brute......Just read the labels....Some will say no scent....these are safe to use......
