Everything I try to open comes in slowly, wether it be Internet, or Word Perfect documents. I do not believe my Hard Drive needs to be erased, as I still have 74% free space left. Is there anything that can be done, without erasing the Hard Drive?

I just read the responses to a question "I believe in god but not the bible..." and was botherd by what I read.

People were saying things like "how can you believe and god and not the bible" and "is that even possible" and "the bible is gods word, to not believe in is it to not believe in him"... completely oblivious to the fact that its not a Christian god. There is like a thousand religions out there, what makes yours right? What makes a bible any more accurate then the Koran? Nothing, only your believes. To imply that you are right and they are all wrong, and that someone cannot know god without knowing your god is just arrogant and rude. People can know a god that is completely independed of any specific religion and text. I know because this is the God I am familar with.

Any thoughts?

Ok, im not that great looking, im not horrible looking but im far from looking great, i try to make up for it with my personality, but how do i get a girl to notice me since im not attractive, i always try to be very nice and all and i think im easy to get along with but girls just never seem to notice me, any advice is appreciated. he's not really my brother but he basically is. he's always there for me. and we have so much fun together. we wrestle and have pillow fights and watch movies and write songs. we just have so much fun. now he's leaving for iraq and probably won't becoming home because he has a very dangerous job. i want to spend as much time as possible with him before he goes. one problem, my mom. she doesn't like him. she's heard "sketchy" things from his ex girlfriends mom. great source huh? she won't let me hang out with him so anytime i do see him it's basically behind her back. i feel bad but it's not fair. he hasn't done anything wrong. its just the way he dresses and stuff. he has his eyebrow, tongue, and ear pierced and he goes by spike. my mom's so stereotypical. i don't really know how to go about this.

My friend, she is really emotional. But she doesn't cut her wrists or whatever. She copies my friend and goes "Oh yeah I'm goth and punkish kinda emoish" and then later on a story goes "Omg I can't believe they call me goth and emo!" she also physically slapped my sister before and she always thinks how she is ugly and how she will never get married in her life. My dad went to her parents and talked about how she's been writing emo poems. And she calls them fake but I really don't think so. She also has major anger issues. Well her whole family does, I think. They are always yelling at each other. Not only do I think so, but my friends also notice it. And she tells people to get therapy, when others in the past told her to get therapy, and she's not emo right now or cutting her wrists but she always thinks her life is miserable which will lead to a bad future I think. What can I do to help this situation?

I live in New Jersey and have been offered a job in Texas. I really want to go there so that I can start over with my life b/c everyone I know here thinks I'm a loser and they look down on me. The only thing that's keeping me from going is the fear that the people I meet there won't like me either. Should I go or not? Before I go, what do I need to do with myself? Change how I look? Change my personality?

A silly question, I know, but would I be able to wrap a small box in gift wrap and still mail it and everything? Or would the post office reject it? I have seen some weird things mailed before (like a flip flop), but I'm still not clear on the gift wrap.

I know that it could be a hassle in case it has to be opened by the PO for some reason, but I'm just asking if it's "illegal" to wrap it and then mail it.
