How about the experience of a real job.

The really famous big money makers seem to be the people who don't go to college to learn to work for someone else.

Just an observation

Which side of things do you enjoy more, the business/financial or the engineering/scientific? It seems to me that the people who do really well in life are those who really follow their hearts and do what they are passionate about. If you opt for the tech degree and end up as an IT professional in a terrible company that you hate, you will hate your work and it will get you down. Same with the MBA if you really don't like it and end up locked in a tiny office reading stupid reports that you hate.

My point, life is so short that you really should enjoy what you are doing. I initially went to school to study physical chemistry, because you can make a lot of money with a chemistry degree working in industry. I hated it and almost dropped out of school. Now, I am in a field that I love and am doing better than I ever thought would be possible at this point in my life. Why? Because I do something that I really like and that I am good at.

Besides, you will require 1-3 years to get one of those degrees. You really are asking which will get you more money, prestige, etc. Its hard to say which is a better degree today, much less 1-3 years from now. How terrible would it be if you spent all the time and money to take one of those degrees in a field you don't even like only to find out that once you finish you can't get a job? Just something to think about.

Good luck with whichever degree you take!
