We as a society are afraid of Mad Cow Disease and E. Coli outbreaks but not of having a heart attack from eating to much processed food. We smoke cigarettes like they're going out of style, drive recklessly at high speeds, and don't wash our hands after using the bathroom. Avian Bird Flu has killed NO ONE in the US and we are terrified of it, but don't get vaccinated for the common flu which kills thousands of people every year. We spend a lot of time worrying about Terrosist Threat Levels being raised to orange and bickering about closing off the borders and the issues of immigration yet completely ignore our ports which take in Billions of foreign products EVERY DAY! Why?

I saw an article about this in the most recent TIME Magazine and found it fascinating. Just passing it on.

the problem is that the dvd disc i want to copy to is not large enough to - it only takes 72 mins. Is there a program which would enable me to "resize" the film (wich is 127 mins) to fit onto my disc?

I don't mind helping family but is there aline that should be drawn at a point???? I have taken her and her two kids to the doctor paid for food and bills....i have two kids of my own and have to take care of them but she wants to go back to work and me watch the kids.I plan to go back to work and she offered to keep the kids if I paid her. Daycare or her???? I am getting stressed with everything going on forty dollars has come up missing so far since she left her husband should I think it was her, she said it wasn't....I am not sure what to do help her with everything and not get paided back....I think that she should think about a job for her and put her kids in daycare but she doesn't want that should I just go get a job and put my kids in daycare...

I’ve just turned 22, and I work for a recruitment company (helping others find jobs etc). I’m sick and tired of people claiming JSA (Job seekers allowance). The majority of people claiming are more than capable for working, their just darn lazy. Maybe they should have a new thing inplace, where u can claim for 2months, and after that tuff ****!

Also while I’m letting you know my thoughts, - I also disagree with young mothers being given anything more than a flat (handouts and nice houses- while im struggling to find accommodation). My best mate has a 3year old son, and she’s been given a nice 2 bedroom house on a nice estate. She gets £X amount of money a week, and both her and her soon dress in designer clothes… she has a part time cleaning 2.

So all these handouts are unfair, and I think everyone should get off their fat lazy arses and go to work…. After-all the way things are going, with the rise of eastern Europeans coming to work in UK, you will all be “bums"

she left me for another guy... i'm here in florida visiting my family.... missing her to death... then... last night... i talked to her on the phone... she didn't sound right.... kind of funny.... i would give her the world.... 1st time we were togeather.... we were togeather for about 3 weeks.... this time (#2)
was only 2 weeks,when i'm not around, she looks for someone to comfort her (so i figured out). and i know it cause that is the same reason why she left me the 1st time. I really love her, i cried all last night, and i feel as though i should walk off a cliff, i don't know anymore, my life hasn't been the easiest lately, and it is hard to get through school, family, and now this, she helped me by coming back to me, and i started to feel "normal" again,i just want to go home,what is wrong with me? do i have issues or something? is it her? what do i do to get her back to me FOREVER? I'm only in high school, but i have this feeling that i can spend the rest of my life with her.
