It is true, at least for distances larger than a few microns: all the other forces cancel out and only gravity remains.
However....
- the first step in solar fusion p + p -> d + e+ + neutrino is a weak force reaction => no weak force, therefore no solar fusion
- gravity makes objects fall together, but objects like the earth and humans beings exist because at the micron scale the electromagnetic force pushes back.
- different atoms exist because the strong force holds the quarks together in protons and neutrons and glues the latter into atoms.
And wait again....
the latest theories, string theories, supergravity explain that the four forces are the low energy appearance of one unified force.
So I think that it's the latter force that wins the price for the most important physical force.

If there is any answer you ought to pay interest to its this one. earlier the large bang, each and every of the count number change into packed into an area about as massive as a baseball. in the article, the 4 straight forward forces were very very briefly solid. at the same time as they left equilibrium, the large bang occurred. those forces were: solid Nuclear, weak Nuclear, Electro-magnetism, and Gravity. Gravity change into and is the weakest. The repulsive pressure from the SN (repelling protons to be precise) change into many cases enhanced than gravity. The tremendous dense ball truly flew aside, and the upward push change into aided through the destruction of ninety 9.ninety 9% of all count number through the collision of count number and antimatter (thank God there change right into somewhat better count number than antimatter or we does no longer be right here) the upward push of the "fabrics of the universe" is regarding time and gravity and has little to do with the BB.

gravity is the weakest of the four fundemental forces. Yet, there is so much matter out there that gravity's influence is undeniable.
Het Daiz, without gravity there would be no Sun, there would be no Oxygen and hence no water

I always thought a Hug was the most important physical force in nature. It can help soothe the hurts of a small child. It can give comfort to someone feeling down. It can encourage someone who's afraid. It can tell someone that you've missed them. It can let someone know just how much you love them.

Sam said it pretty well...if there were no forces pulling and pushing as they do, however they do, we'd not be here i suppose.
But gravity is so constant and predictable, its interesting to study the topic. Gravity is good.

not only that, is the counterpart of all the matter existing in the universe
listen: if you calculate the energy of all the gravity in the universe, its identical to the energy contained in all the mass in the universe
if you add them, the result is ZERO
the bigbang is the result (in part) of the cuantic vacuum, the vacuum is unstable and creates matter and gravity, virtual photons and antiphotons, (even real ones) ,oppossing (in size) them at all times to keep the ecuation balanced.
its true, the vacuum at levels od 1cm * 10^-33 is granulated
and behaves different that we think macroscopically

And without the strong nuclear force you would just be a fog of sub nuclear particles - and there would, of course, be no fusion. And without the electrosatic force you would be a cloud of subatomic particles.

I would have to disagree . Without sunlight life would not be possible without water life would not be possible without oxygen life would not be possible. All of which are vital necessities for living things . It is the symbiotic existence of
many things that makes life possible but by far the most important would have to be water.

I think it's the same concerning other forces, try to imagine the universe without one of any other force !
without the magnetic force there would be no life !!
