My father used to be an alcoholic. He got sick and quit over 7 yrs ago. The doc gave him hydroxyzine for alcohol withdrawals & anxiety. 5 months ago he though he didn't need it any more and now he has severe anxiety & paranoia.His hearing became sensitive, he is scared to use his credit card, only drinks out of water bottles and checks them before he opens it, hardly sleeps, moans and whines. Up until 5 days ago he refused to take any medication b/c he was scared of the side effects. This has been so stressful for my mom, so I called the mental health crissis clinic and they came out to convince him to take his old med hydroxyzine. He took it and the next day he had a severe panic attack and I had to call 911 & the police to force him to the hospital. They did tests and didn't feel the need to keep him there in the mental health clinic. When we brought him home he was furious with us & said he would never forgive us. He stoped that, & is taking his meds, but I don't see any change yet.

I recently changed jobs within the same company to a different department. I was in my previous job for 4 years and enjoyed it mostly. I have been in current one for the past 3 months and I just can't seem to settle down, I like the people they are nice and I do the work but I have had a few sick days and I can get miserable sat at my desk thinking of previous job.

Is this normal? Should I give it a bit more time to see if I settle?

I have long straight hair. My hair comes down to about my bra line. I have one layer at my shoulders. My hair has some natural curl. There is a big section that will curl right up and the front stays straight"er". I usually either flat iron my hair or use the blow dryer. Ive had this same hair style since i was in high school. I dont have a problem with it at all...i like my long hair. I am just thinking about doing some kind of bangs. :o
I also have very thin hair in the front around my forehead (receeding hairline) so i dont know how bangs will work....will they help hide the hairline or just not work. I am thinking of sideswept bangs or something like that

What do you suggest????

My friend needs help managing his anger. He can be upset over something small and it grows to be something big and before he realizes what he is doing he starts to get physical and violent. He needs some help and is willing to get some he just wants it to be the right kind. (Like, he doesn't need a shrink, he just needs to learn how to prevent himself from getting violent.)
