No doubts, I would believe the male god.
Because the female one could be my wife; she never believes me and then I don't want to believe her...... :D

I....what?? I don't know of anyone who believes strictly in the Goddess as the only creative force in the universe. Not saying that there aren't people who worship just a goddess, but most people who believe in Goddess also believe in her consort, the God, and that he is just as important in the cycle of life, though the Goddess is the bringer of life. Hopefully that answers your question, because I'm really confused.
Blessed be!

If gender was necessary for God? I would have to believe in both of them, if it were true, that is. My reasoning would be that one couldn't create without the other. By assuming that God needs a gender would mean that he would copulate like humans and animals in order to create "his children". Having gender and hormones and such, then you'd need both of them - like a checks and balance system to each other because they would both get moody.
